Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs
We are happy to announce that our animated feature film “Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs”, that is now in production and will be released in October of 2018 have received funding from Polish Film Institute. The animation film is co-production between Atom Art (Latvia) and Letko Spólka z o.o. (Poland) and is listed in the jubilee film programme “Latvian Films for Latvian Centenary” supported by National Film Centre of Latvia.
This animation film is about a boy named Jacob (7) who while spending summer in one of the city`s suburbs not only discovers an environment never seen before, becomes acquainted with his cousin, the smarty-boots Mimmi (8), and his uncle, the former seaman Eagle, but also makes friends with Boss, the leader of a horde of talking homeless dogs. Will Jacob and Mimmi succeed to make friends and together with the talking dogs rescue the place from the rich Lord Pie who has plans to convert the romantic wooden-house-neighbourhood into an impersonal glass skyscraper area?
